El Questro and Zebedee Springs
The magic of El Questro gorge with it’s fern lined cliffs and spectacular colours is a sight to see. The track runs alongside a little creek and is rocky and slightly challenging in places.
My other favourite place is Zebedee Springs. Warm to hot water flows continually in a magical, fairy dell type setting with little rock pools to sit or soak in. Beautiful ferns and palms of all description grow all around. Just glorious. Many criticise El Questro for the high cost of camping and the park fee they charge. Bearing in mind where it is situated and the excellent amenities they provide, including a restaurant, tour bookings, fantastic scenery, beautiful shady camp sites, powered sites, water, bar, shop, wifi etc.
I feel the money is well worth paying for an unforgettable experience.
